Why China might win the war.

ravens complain,
raucous cries
from a height
of broken wires
and tangled lines.

it’s war they declare.
on those that tell us how to be?
Crows cawing in cacophony,
a murder announced.

words pour like sewage
into a bottleneck.
backing up,
overflows erupt.
Rats depart.
a buzzing in the busyness
of hives.
combs exude the lies.

demeaned,
worship the machine
but criticize its masters.
check your price tags
on electronic shelves
panic in the undergrowth.

while in china
the panda
close to extinct writes poetry to himself.
