Invisible

image

She looked past me for him
The older boy the perfect son

She looked around me to see
If anyone else was in the company

She looked over me for purer air
And being overlooked I wasnt there

She looked about me and without me
To my splinters, my warts and skint knee

She poked infused and defused me
But in every way she refused to see me.
