Words fall carelessly
from foolish unguarded lips.
Stumbling over gentle minds
and kind hearts.
Lustful looks un-retracted,
evoke reactions of distaste.
They blink in haste to not offend
and pretend to be unaffected.
Lies they can’t recant so easily told
by bold tongues and black hearts
have no part or place in honest men
where truth is told they hold no sway
Crumbs of deeds and thoughts
Leave crooked trails of distaste
fraught with danger. Nothing stranger
than crooked crumbs and folks.
Words, Thoughts and Deeds make fools of us all
