The Right to Life.

The Right to Life

I have so many rights.
The right to be wrong included
But right over my own life is excluded

The right to choose my time to die
To retain dignity in death
That right I do not have yet

The right to end my pain
When life becomes unbarable to me
Laws still force me to live and to be

Justice and peace will be denied
My pain will not be a consideration
My suffering not used in mitigation

The law will not care about my dignity
Dictates I live against my own choice
Will not listen to my screaming voice.

So death with dignity and choice is illegal
But  prolonged suffering is fine?
Christ have mercy on the dying.
