Walk Your Own Road

Walk Your Own Road

The crooked way, is a narrow track
Men walk it daily, there and back
And they think nothing, of their lost days
That they leave strewn along the crooked way.

Honest talk and honest toil
Are unknown along it crooked miles
Its way is strewn with every vice
The toll in hurt too high a price.

The first step along the crooked way
Seems innocent, but listen pray
Heed my warning and what I say.
Dont set your step on the crooked way

Walk the straight and narrow road
Bend your back and lift your load
Be honest never cheat or lie
Walk your own road, head held high
